Quality, Mission, Vision and Objectives

Optima’s operations are guided by a quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality standard.
In all goal-oriented, quality-assured and effective operations, the guiding principle is PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), a well-established method for managing and structuring continuous improvement work.
Plan: Set objectives for the changes to be implemented and determine the method for implementation.
Do: Implement the changes proposed in the previous stage and introduce measurements.
Check: Evaluate the measurements and implementation work and analyse the results.
Act: Decide on new changes, which are then fed back into the planning phase.PDCA is applied not only at the organisational level at Optima, but staff and students alike are encouraged to apply the practice in their own development. Often, this happens unconsciously in daily work: planning, doing, reflecting on the outcome and making adjustments where needed. In a sense, every employee is the quality manager of their own work, and every student is the quality manager of their own learning.
Optima enables learning by providing high-quality education and training. Our students are our customers, and their competence is the added value that our educational activities provide. Students themselves play a decisive role in their learning – no learning takes place without their own active participation.
High-quality operations produce strong results..
